deacon of student ministries hi, i'm alli chen, deacon of student ministries.  i've been attending east valley for about 7 years now.  when i first came here, i served as junior high counselor, however i was also looking for a church family to grow with.  i have since stepped down from the counselor role, but continue to serve as a lay counselor in the high school fellowship.  and God has been truly faithful in giving me a community at east valley that is a reflection of His goodness and grace.  i even met my husband here!  as deacon of student ministries, i hope to give students who come to our church the opportunity to be plugged into the church through our fellowships.  whether you're staring junior high or are an 8th year super-senior, east valley seeks to meet you where you are, and walk with you as you journey with Christ.  being part of the body of Christ is a beautiful and amazing thing, where deep growth and knowledge of God can take root.brian.html
